Bumbles flew back to the meadow. No leprechaun. Frog and bee headed to The Fern Glen. When the two arrived, they spied a distraught Seamus O'Sheehan within the glen's Mushroom Ring, protected by the larger umbrellas. He was again wailing. Glen greenery and ancient trees were none too happy with the upsetting noise. They liked their peace and quiet.
Seamus stopped mid-wail. "Who are you?" he asked the frog.
"I am Stafford. My friend, Bumbles the Bee, brought me to you because he knows I can help you with your leaping. You see, once I, too, had a jumping issue."
The Tiny Tree Frog patted the wee leprechaun on the back. "My! What a splendid hat you have, Seamus. And just take a look at those shoes! Did you make them?"
The leprechaun blushed. "Why yes, Stafford. We leprechauns are famous for our cobbling skills. And, my St. Patrick's Day hat is a present from my family. They are all looking forward to our biggest party of the year."
As he finished speaking, his lips started to quiver all over again. "It's no use, Masters Stafford and Bumbles. I have tried and tried to no avail. I fear I'm grounded for good. I am an embarrassment to all faery folk."
"Nonsense, Seamus. Listen to me carefully," the frog stated."All you have to do is. . ." (to be continued from The Woodlands - Caelumen)
