A Whimbly Fourth of July Part II

Annabelle cleared her voice and responded. "Well, you see," she giggled, "Elspeth and I talked about a special Whimbly event for The Fourth of July. Elfin dragon and I thought that we could have a Thimballoon race between Anise and myself. Do you remember Anise, the other Sweet Pea Whimble who joined us here on Earth? Her Companion, Gwyenth the Tiny Field Mouse, loves crystals and my mouse Companion, Gillian, ever at the ready, recently found a beautiful sky blue one. In the hope that Gywen would like it, we invited both Whimble and mouse to Atlanta. They were pleased, said yes and have been traveling from Miami to Atlanta for this momentous day. Oh, do look up! Here they come!"
Elspeth the Elfin Dragon announced the arrival of Gwyenth and Anise in her Thimballoon. The dragon executed one "loop de loop" after another right above the small group below who applauded, in awe of the small animal's agile movements. Within moments, Gwyenth and Anise floated downward and secured their Thimballoon on a strong hydrangea branch. By the time they lowered their ladder and climbed down to the grass below, everyone there was excited to hug both of them. (to be continued from Atlanta, Georgia, USA - Earth)
