Pagos the Anciennan Sea Turtle is as fiercely loyal as his flippers are powerful. His friendship with Anciennan Nikki the Hummingbird knows no bounds. Their daily excursions along The Rose Coast are filled with happiness as Pagos dives in and out of the waves with the hummer following above him. Hillside Whimble, Daphne, travels south each summer from Lumenesia to join the two. She always seeks the wisdom of both friends who listen to her with infinite patience. After advice is dispatched, both hummingbird and turtle regale the Whimble with one Caelumen tale after another.
