Ezra and Eliza the Snow Temple Cats and Chroniclers

Long ago King Thaddeus summoned Ezra and his heartmate, Eliza, to The Sky Castle. As with all Anciennans, the two knew their king’s wish when they arrived in the most forbidding Caelumen territory. Eliza is skilled at chronicling tales. Her handwritten word is like the finest of lace. It flows on the page with both intricacy and strength. 

Ezra is the illuminator. It is his responsibility to complement each written page with decoration. He begins by adding both gold and silver to initials and borders. When this is complete, he continues by creating his most elegant work - miniature illustrations with a gold flourish here and there. These illuminated manuscripts are celebrated throughout all of Caelumen for their graceful workmanship. When each is completed, it is carried to The Crystal Cavern where it is archived and protected. The two Anciennans are known as “The Chroniclers. ”

Ezra and Eliza love their interior garden. They tend to individual plants every morning. During the two months surrounding the summer solstice when the days grow long, the temperatures climb enough to take contained plants to their balcony. All side greenhouse windows are opened for fresh northern air to circulate. Nourishing their plants, enjoying visits from travelers, and creating their illuminated manuscripts are both their greatest pleasures and gifts to Caelumen.
