Pax the Savannah Lion

He is as heartwise as he is large and powerful. This Anciennan is patient and thoughtful. Always vigilant, he senses the slightest movement or sound. One winter long ago while walking over The Spine into Lumenesia, the lion heard a faint bleating, only a whisper, unrecognizable to most. Pax stopped, ears pricked. Quickly, he turned off the path to follow the weak cry and soon found a wee lamb caught in a deep spinal crevice. Rescuing the animal, he cradled him gently and continued to his destination in The Upper Meadows. There the lamb reunited with his master, Delaney The Pillow Whimble.
