Verbena the Vixen Forager

Also known as The Forager, Verbena and her heartmate, Cress, are Guardians of The Eternal Spring. This delicately elegant red fox is also agile, intelligent, and beautiful. But, most importantly, she is ever observant. Verbena pieces garments together with feathers, dried flowers, beech bark, and other treasures that she gathers on her walks throughout the forests of Caelumen. Her home is within the trunk of a twenty-five foot magnolia. Each spring and throughout summer, luna moths emerge from cocoons on towering sweetgum trees. They fly back and forth from the territory’s southwestern grove to visit with Verbena and Cress. Several moths settle on the shadowed banks of The Eternal Spring where the guardian Anciennans regale them with one tale after another.
