I decided it was time to invent. I have some wonderful fabric. I needed a truly magical, almost medieval drapery treatment for my entrance hall. I washed yards of hand-dyed habotai silk that I twisted while wet and then air dried. That takes some time so if there is a fan available or a place in the sun, it would be a fine idea to utilize either. I wrapped the long lengths of the now pleated and finely wrinkled fabric with silk ribbon. The result was unique and unexpected - an art installation.
