Fey Globe Basil

This diminutive basil is, for fairies, a very large shrub or a glorious tree that often lines their winding walkways each summer. It grows like a perfect boxwood but with the breath of Irish emerald green. The fairies surrounding the globes told me something a few years ago. They instructed me to cut a sprig from one globe, placing it in sparkling cool clean water and sunlight. They said that, in short order, maybe less than two weeks, the cutting would root like threads of lace. When it did, I was to plant it in a protected rich soil sunny environment. I followed these instructions and, before long, many new globe basil plants thrived. (la fin from Midtown Atlanta, Georgia, USA - Earth)
