Rex the Rabbit would be at any well appointed dinner table with lavish floral arrangements to justify his presence. The most scintillating of guests would join him a table. Wouldn't it be amusing to hear their conversation?

The dimensional work I completed between 1989 and 1994 foreshadows the World of the Whimbles. It was like a complicated puzzle, one piece slid into place, then another until, in 1995, I had conceived of Whimble Designs, the business that would house the land and characters that have been populating my mind ever since.

Therefore, although ever so much larger in height and girth, Rex is reminiscent of The Land of Caelumen's Orchid and Hillside Whimbles.  Do click on "Land & Characters" to compare.

The lace was a find from Peaks Island, Maine where I was able to spend my summers for many years.  Garage sales were plentiful on a summer weekend - such treasures to be had!  I have only a wee number of these finds left, and it is a lucky new figure who dons one of them today.
