1989-1994: Dimensional Work - Felix the Felicitous French Frog from The Animal Court of Enchantment Collection - Private Collection
Felix is ever so elegant and urbane. He is a pace setter in The Animal Court. Many want to emulate his magical dress although they do not have the slim figure nor the carriage necessary to carry the day like Felicitous Felix. What they may not know, though, is the contradictory side to this frog.
He adores his garden above all else. He will go out into it at any time of day or night, pajamas or dressed to the nines. Sometimes he simply cannot refrain from leaping over the raised vegetable beds into the herbs. They are his delight - basil, dill, chives, mint, and ever so many more. He is known to pick up a seed here, a seed there that he places into his hand sewn velvet purse. Even as the moon rises, he may be out amongst the plants, looking for just the right spot to plant those precious seeds.
Wouldn't it be a joy to see him out there planting a seed or two in your garden?
